Poached eggs again

This was one of those smack your forehead, how come I didn't think of that?! moments.
Madhur Jaffrey, in that lovely new book I got, Curry Easy, casually mentioned that she poaches her eggs the same way she fries them - but with water instead of oil...are you doing the same, forehead-smacking thing??
I tried it, it works, 1/2" or so of water in non-stick frying pan; bring to boil then simmer, crack in egg, either cover with lid or use teaspoon to spoon over the boiling water...job done
Poached egg masquerading as fried, and cooked to perfection
Doh!
