Vocal Voices

I had planned to make a 2 and a 1 sponge things, cover them in icing and put them on a silver cake thing (I'm so clued up on the technical names...not! )

Someone else (who happens to be a fantastic baker!!!) is now making a cake for the boys.

I'm now wondering whether to just make a load of cupcakes, put them in the shape of a 2 and a 1 and be done with it!

I'm busy with work, seeing mum and dad every second day and next week have 3 extra people in the house to distract me/take me to the pub/and generally make my life even more bonkers!

I was thinking it might be nice for everyone to just be able to take a cake away with them as well as have a slice of the 'posh cake'

I'd go with the cupcakes too

If someone else is making one Ally then yes, just do cupcakes - or not even that if you're too busy, don't worry about it.
All everyone will remember is what a fantastic party it was

I was feeling a bit guilty and felt like I was chickening out a little bit..but I am busier with work and know next week with my guests will be mental!

Definitely the cupcakes Ally, is there anywhere locally where you could get printed toppers made in time?

Or just put J or C on each of them, they'll think you've gone all religious

There could well be F's F's and S's on them at this rate!!
