We won't be doing it every week but perhaps once a month as a treat. Must remember to put cream on the shopping list ....

We've never really "baked" before because I'm not supposed to have sugary cakey things diet-wise, but the lockdown had been a bit of a game changer - too much time on our hands and difficulty finding a way to fill it!

D makes the best apple cake ever! Apples from her tree, sultanas, brown sugar, cinnamon! Delicious hot as a pud, with cream or custard, just as yummy sliced cold with a cuppa ......... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it
