Quick soup

1/2packet frozen cassorale mixed veg
Not ordinary mixed veg
2little pots of knorre chicken stock pots
2potatoes cut in cubes
Put in sauce pan with pint of water salt pepper
Cook for 20minutes
Blitz with a wizard and ready to eat

I do that too Saundra, also Morrison's do a nice pack of veg diced ready for soup
I doo the veg with butter and or oil first though

If done it that way before with fresh veg
It's easier for me to buy frozen from tesco

Suandra, since the stock pots came out I have been doing something similar. Supermarket own brand are well worth it.

I put one in a pan with water, fry up some onion and chopped mushrooms and add them. Throw in some frozen mixed veg and any left over meat (chicken) then snap in a few sticks of spaghetti. I add herbs or spices if I want something different.

Brilliant quick soup for cold days. Thanks for the reminder.
