Fresh peas

Never cooked them straight from the pod before :oops: :oops: how long should I cook them for?

Doing them tomorrow, so no rush xx

Add them to already boiling water then cook for four mins max. Drain and add S&P with a knob of butter.

Don't cook them in cold water, and do not add salt to the cooking water - they will go hard.

EU law states that you must drink at least one glass of chilled white wine when preparing peas.

Oooh I remember shelling fresh peas for my mum, and eating most of them raw :oops: :lol: Dad used to grow them in our back garden :D

Sorry I have no idea how long she used to cook them for though :oops: :roll: :lol:

It is much more useful in your car's windscreen wash, but if you must drink it ... ! :roll:

Steak: hot pan with a little oil and butter, season it - the steak, turn it every minute till it's to your preferred cooking level; rare; med or WD. Eat.
