It's officially absolutely deeeeeelish!! :D

Bb said he couldn't taste any difference but I reckon it was better the next day - and the next... ;) :)
Definitely a new favourite, and so easy!
The amount of ginger in the recipe would be way too much for me, we had 110g and it still seemed a lot. Bb cut each chunk in half, I'd probably cut it a bit smaller than that.

I think the flavours would have improved with leaving it, a bit like curry does maybe? :)

I'll bear in mind the tip about the ginger, I think I will deffo give this a go at some point 8-)

It does a 1kg/2lb loaf tin, so you could split it between 2x1lb tins and bake for less time, it would freeze well :)
