I just nipped round to the Co-op for the paper and bought a couple of bits. Just as I was going past the reduced display some wine caught my eye.

Chateau-neuf-du-Pape 2008 reduced to £7!!!!!!!!!!

I only got one bottle as I was walking and had a few things to carry, otherwise I would have bought the lot. I might call in again when I have the car. That is a ridiculously low price - I am wondering if somebody knew what they had. I don't know if it was just this small local Co-op, but if you are near one it might be worth having a look.

Surely it must just be the local manager reducing this, not realising - they can't be doing it nationwide via Head Office! Can they?

Don't know! I should have got the car out and gone back and bought up the lot I think. Too lazy now.

We have a Co op nearby.

I have to take the boyfriends home later and was going to nip to Sainsburys for some sparkly water. I think I might go to the Co op instead. I will let you know if I find any!

I called in to collect my Euro winnings but it was £15.99!!!

Manager said the offer was probably either a manager's special or a group reduction in selected stores.
