Best served still warm with a little custard, says the BBC Good Food recipe.

Sounds like my kind of pudding. Apples, cinnamon and sultanas, what could go wrong? :D :D :D

It looks a bit of a mess, but some of the best things often do. Do let us know how it goes.

Very well, actually, thanks for asking 8-). Mrs O very pleased with the result. It was the BBC Good Food recipe we used. :D
We won't be doing it every week but perhaps once a month as a treat. Must remember to put cream on the shopping list .... ;)

We've never really "baked" before because I'm not supposed to have sugary cakey things diet-wise, but the lockdown had been a bit of a game changer - too much time on our hands and difficulty finding a way to fill it!

D makes the best apple cake ever! Apples from her tree, sultanas, brown sugar, cinnamon! Delicious hot as a pud, with cream or custard, just as yummy sliced cold with a cuppa 8-) ......... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it  :D :D :D
