I made lasagne

using those sheets of butternut squash that Sainsbury's have started selling. It was nice, but next time I will par-boil them first, despite it saying you don't need to!

Far fewer calories/points :D

Kaz, have you tried the lasagne recipe that the Hairy Bikers use in their diet cook book - they use sheets of leek instead of pasta; also looks really good

I've done it using sliced-lengthwise aubergine, grilled first, that's good

I hadn't heard of those sheets Kaz, I'll look into those. Now I've started going into Stafford more often it means that Sainsbury's is easy get to as the one there is right opposite my bus stop to come home, whereas the one here is on an out of town retail park which is difficult to get to without a car.

I make one hell of a chicken lasagne, even if I do say so myself :P

We did the weekly shop on the way home from our walk round the Docks and Quays, so I got some more of the sheets. Will report back ;)

Well no, since it's beef mince, and different flavourings, it's quite like lasagne

Jamie once did a Moussangne using courgette slices. It could only have been worse had he used broccoli and asparagus somewhere in the recipe.

I like traditional(ish). ;)
