For those who have claimed to go to Iraq and Syria and to have shot and killed people. Maybe we send them to Jordan.

Of course we'd have to tie the courts up, flip the finger to the EU, withdraw from the "Uman criminals charter". Can't see it really but it's certainly one solution.

It's blatantly obvious that the only way we are going to eliminate this barbaric Islamic sect is to eradicate it wherever it surfaces.

I hope Jordan carries out the executions. And I really hope that the British government will now take a zero-tolerance stance on jihadist sympathisers in mosques in this country. Although I suspect we will be lily-livered and pussy-foot around it as usual .....

Now that Jordan know that IS will murder their people and just lie about it, they will simply try, convict and execute all in one go.

Unfortunately they are in a no win situation. Unless the nations of the world decide to enter Iraq and Syria, surround the entire IS, blockade the ground and the skies, then close in and eradicate every last one of them, this barbarity will go on for centuries.

I wonder how long it will take for that to be realised?

The great protection for the UK is supposed to be that it is a soft and warm culture in which extremism does not grow and where the benefits of that culture constantly weigh against radical thoughts or wishes.

That doesn't work when those who want to kill and murder bring their harsh and violent community with them and isolate that community from the soft and warm UK. They are fortunate, perhaps, that I am not the ruler in the UK. I would make the default stand harsh and unwelcoming to such people with mandatory expulsion. Then I would save the exceptions for those who truly deserve it. Sadly we are doing exactly the opposite.
