Well, if it had not been for Berkshit the UK would have never left the world stage.

Only about 44 more years of campaigning to get us back in the EU. It's about what you leavers had to get us out; get used to it.

Overheard earlier:

When he said he was going to stop the boats we didn't think he meant the fishing boats!

Quite agree midsec222,the TRAITOR hates the UK.
Thought the brexit vote was a legal majority.
Obviously not.
Putting us under the franco/German heel again

Starmer never said that he we would stop the boats, that was Sunak, what he did say is that he would smash the gangs and that that would lead to stopping the boats. It is a work in progess not a nine month project.

What he also said is that he would reduce net (legal) immigration from the 905,000 p.a. high under the Tories. That is also a work in progress. It was 27 times greater than the illegals under the Tories.

If he brings both down it is a win-win.

52% v 48% on a 72% turnout of an 'advisory' referendum was never a huge majority. We remainers will never let you leavers forget that. It was certainly nowhere near the 2:1 "stay" majority at the 1975 referendum.

For clarity (I can't speak for MedSec) - my reaction to Starmer's "Britain is now back on the world stage" remark was nothing at all to do with Brexit.
It was just that it sounded so unbelievably crass.
A bit of humility wouldn't have gone amiss.
TBH, I would be more than happy now if Britain would get off the world stage once and for all ......

Nobody said it was a huge majority but it was a majority.
Not leavers fault how many voted.
Would you defend that vote if it was in your favour

The aim of Brexit was so that the UK could make its own way in the world unencumbered by thing "EU".

We held all the cards, had dozens of super "oven-ready" deals and would have a voice other countries would listen to.

It hasn't worked out that way so it's back to more leaver lies, myths and legends.

Sir Kneel-A-Lot seems to have raised the white flag.

Yes, the world as moved on, but our Leader may have re-opened old wounds. This deal could be one more thing to come back and bite Sir Keir on the backside. Time will tell.
