£700,000 on foreign travel in 3 months.Has anybody told him that his mate Milliband is trying to get zero emissions to save the planet.

Does Starmer really need 2 photographers? Can't he borrow Rayners, yes she has 1 as well paid for by us £68000 a year.

Talk about snouts in the trough.

Vic, I think that you are confusing "holidays" with official Government visits abroad. Starmer has had two holidays but made 16 official visits. Any PM of any party would have been expected to attend those - G7, G20, Davos, NATO, the UN, bilateral talks, the Armistice etc..

As for photographers... It was the last Conservative government that introduced them for ministers - a total of seven photographers. That has risen to 10 under Labour but they are nothing new.

Maybe they should come from a small Photographer Corps rather than being dedicated to one per minister, but all governments would have them.

I know the trips are official but have they never heard of zoom calls? After all these are the people that are constantly telling US that we have to do more for the environment

Its perfectly OK for the hoi poloi to travel the world over as many times as they like. When it comes to saving the planet the plebs need to get on their bikes or stay at home. Simples.

Of course they will have heard of Zoom and also of hackers, crackers, the dark web, TOR, VPNs etc.

Can you imagine the heads of NATO or the Security Council of the UN or the G7 - 20 doing business by Zoom? And how do you do attendance at the opening of the Olympics / Paralympics, the Armistice Day parade and so on by Zoom?

Some things can only be done face-to-face or by personal attendance.
