After asking in the post office on Saturday how long 1st class would take,which I always thought was next day.
It seems in seems to be where your posting to and how many postmen are working unless you are prepared to pay an £8 charge in which case it would be next day.

Sixteen 2nd class stamps.cost me over.£13!!!!
