Dublin attacker is "Algerian national", Gardai believe.

https://gript.ie/breaking-news-suspect- ... i-believe/

We'll see if that's true.

I understand the knifeman was disarmed by a young male passer by; well done to that brave man.

Ah, Gript, that ultra right-wing news outlet outs the perpetrator as an Algerian and therefore, in the minds of some, he must be an Islamist terrorist, so suddenly the knuckle draggers are out looting, burning buses and trams and police vehicles. Well there's a thing.

Not sure that violence had anything to do with who, just rent a mob having a day out. Amazing how quickly it happened, they must have been sitting twiddling their thumbs waiting for any excuse

That poor family, knowing the Garde couldn't do their job for them, because they were all deployed sorting the violent hooligan element.

I say it every time, water cannons, but then I suppose the environmental element would be moaning

Shell, I completely agree about water cannons, with a nice red dye added to the water. Cruiser, Gript is part of the problem here, disseminating far right nonsense, I’m sorry but I wouldn’t even click on that link. I’m sure it neglects to mention that the man who stopped him was a Brazilian Deliveroo driver who hit the stabber with his helmet.

Well maybe I should have posted the link to the Daily Mail front page, where it says much the same thing. Would that have been any better?
No Osc, it didn't mention that.
But not mentioning things isn't confined to right wing media; not by a long chalk.
Anyway, room read. They're all far right hooligans, should be in jail, nothing to see here.

Actually, the DM has a photo of the Deliveroo driver.

Good people don't just come from your own country, they are just good.

Same with bad people. But when you come to knife attacks, there is a trend.

My latest dil is Brazilian. They live with violence a lot at home and are more prepared for it than we are.

The point here is that all too often these immigrants bring their violence, attitudes and mores with them and they carry on as if at home. This presents an issue that will have to be addressed eventually.

As for the rent a mob? Chuck the lot in jail and let them out in a few years. They are no use to anyone in a civilised country.
