Panic Buying?

I didn't see any sign of it today in my local Tesco. To be fair, it is quite a large store. There was plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and walking round the store today was pleasant and very easy. There was even a large shelf of toilet rolls and kitchen towels. I should imagine that most people will not go short of anything over the Christmas period.

The media especially papers like the Daily Mail, won't be happy until they have caused panic buying.

I checked my Tesco order earlier and it looks like they’ve put a limit on certain items. I’d ordered three packs of pasta and that appears to be the limit on that, and you’re only allowed one pack of toilet rolls.

They are all at it.
The Food and Drink Federation (FDF), the British Retail Consortium, the British Cambers of Commerce (BCC) government, supermarkets, road hauliers. Each and every one of them is telling us all is fine and not to panic buy. The irony is lost on them that by doing so they are putting the idea into the minds of the idiots.
Just STFU and let us get on with life. Most of us have already got the makings of the damned Christmas dinner in, including the sprouts.

Just been up to our Sainsbury's in the past hour, to collect some meds for D from.the pharmacy, and the fruit and veg aisles looked perfectly adequately stocked to me! Maybe not quite as full-to-bursting as they normally are three days before Christmas, but no signs of shortages

Oops, but thanks. It was really bugging me. I'll just imagine it from now on.
