Corbyn suspended by Labour.

Wow, that was quick!

An investigation into antisemitism by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) found Labour had broken the law when dealing with complaints - Corbyn was in charge at the time. He then made a statement and gave a news conference where he said the allegations were "dramatically overstated" and he refused to retract his other accusations. He has also had the whip removed.

This is going to stir up trouble in Labour's ranks, not because there is institutional antisemitism within it, but because of its warring factions.

Here's hoping that the Momentum side loses.

I guess it comes down to party members. The biggest blow for Labour could be the loss of Momentum party members and their subscriptions.

In the long run it will be good for Labour, but in the short term it might be a very big problem. As you say WM, warring factions. That is putting it mildly.

Let the war begin!

Mind you, if Len McCluskey and Momentum are against you you must be doing something right. The hard left is not as powerful or influential as it thinks it is, and we all know that some kind of 'accommodation' will eventually be made. Most voters are centrists at heart, as Major and Blair both knew, and they both used that to their advantage.

It will be old news come the weekend.

I wonder if it is anti semitism at all, or just chasing the muslim vote?

In some constituencies of course it is, but all parties play to their strengths as they see them, in order to win. It's dirty, but it is not new.

True enough. Not nice, but not new either.
