My heart goes out to the mom; I cannot even begin to imagine what she's going through and I don't know how one gets over something like this. But equally I feel really sorry for the driver.

I don't quite understand why the courier driver was charged with causing death by dangerous driving when the buggy was blown into it's path because the mom left it unattended on the pavement? Is it standard procedure - does anyone know.

Not very much info in general Ria. Utterly horrible but the Telegraph states there was a passenger in the Van at the time of the accident. It could be routine or it could be something to do with the setup of the street at the time, estimated speed of driving or anything.

I guess there will be more info to follow. I can't even imagine being in her position. There but for the grace of god I think.

For so many of us - parents and drivers.

We all make these simple sorts of mistakes every day of our lives, and we get away with them. Unfortunately this one has turned into a tragedy for so many people, especially for Olivia and her mum and the driver and his passenger.

The arrest is probably standard procedure until enquiries are completed.

I'm just guessing here but I suspect it would be harder to leave the country if you have been arrested and bailed.
