Abdullah from London and Aman from London

Were two of the questioners on the BBC's who is the next PM going to be program last night.
Just two ordinary members of the public.
Or not.
Abdullah has been outed as Abdullah Patel, a deputy head from Bristol whose tweets included a solution to the Israel problem - relocate it to the USA. Who has talked of "politicians on the Zionist payroll". Who advises women not to be alone with a man in case they get raped. Abdullah's question was does the panel agree that words have consequences. Well they have for him, he's been suspended from teaching duties.
And there's ordinary member of the public Aman,
Ordinary Aman was actually a Labour council candidate in Southwark in 2018 and worked on the party investigation/whitewash into antisemitism in the Labour party.

So not biased in any way then.

I would say the degree of bias in selecting questioners like this is unbelievable, but it's the BBC, so in fact it's totally believable.

Kudos to the Guido Fawkes website for breaking these stories. Scroll down to find them.

Nobody should be surprised, really, should they?

An organisation that can, as another example, actually defend people like Jo Brand richly deserves to be pilloried and shunned.

+1

I would like to see a list of, say, the 30 'possibles' the final few were chosen from. I would also like to know how much prep time the MPs were given because form the bits I have been unable to escape from none of their immediate answers were off-the-cuff.

Not that I am that much bothered. I did not watch it because: 1. I do not like Maitlis 2. I had to file my teeth and 3. I am not one of the 0.21%, so have no say.
