What a society, the threats if one opens their mouths regarding maltreatment in hospitals, care homes, sexual abuse, homes for the handicapped have had would be whistle blowers in all areas in a cleft stick.. What kind of individuals are given these positions? We now know, they are the likes of David Nicholson and others of his
ilk, nasty arrogant bullies, those who are considered able to control their underlings through fear and threats, and if they get out of line they are out!!
What amazes me is that this government and the last protect these individuals which means they are and have been behind the charade covering up the shocking facts as to unneccessary deaths, violence, neglect, sexual abuse, etc etc.
I am aware that few are interested in the organisation Common Purpose, interesting that 200 more government officials were sent on these courses over the past year..

According to the papers Kate, the government has now banned the use of gagging orders in the NHS, which sounds like a good move.
I had to laugh though. Elsewhere in the papers there is a story about Sir David whatshisname making a sppech in which he said the NHS was now going to be open and transparent; reporters were told not to film the speech and that Sir David wouldn't be answering any questions!

Very open and transparent, I don't think!
