In this case it was a man attacking Moslems going about their Ramadan religious observances.
Whatever I think about the atrocities claimed in the name of Islam, attacking innocents to "get back" is not an acceptable solution and should be punished to the full extent of the law.
Notable differences, the van was used to maim and injure but no other weapons were carried and the suspect was restrained by the public until the police arrived to take him into custody.
To me it sounds like someone who has lost a loved one (or more) and simply lost the plot. Rather than some ideology driven reign of terror.
What concerns me more is that others may take this as an acceptable form of grief adjustment which would then lead to open warfare on the streets. Rivers of blood but in a slightly different way from that predicted.
As for the MOL and his babble about attacks on our shared beliefs and values??? Sorry I practise tolerance and right of people to live their own life. I do not share either the beliefs or many of the values of those attacked. I do, however, vociferously, defend their right to those beliefs so long as they do not contravene UK law and are not used to attack others who do not believe the way they do.
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
