Yes, well, we all know that Cameron only got what the EU felt they could afford to give the UK without losing face and having to give concessions to other countries.

I'm pretty sure it was the total lack of respect for the UK which finally drove the vote over the top. People were pissed and rightly so. The only country which was offered less was Greece.... Although Italy will see that one come in the fulness of time. Once they have "dealt" with the UK and moved on.

May? She's clueless about the EU. You don't negotiate with the EU. You create a situation they can't live with then sit back and wait for them to realise they have to give you what you want or they are going to have to live with that situation.

Anything else? A waste of good breathing oxygen.

Advertising costs? About one good Do at Parliament. That money is not even petty cash, it is inconsequential. Which is why it was spent on a complete waste of time.

There is a school of thought out there that May was supposed to brazen out the deal, lose with a few votes and then go back to the EU and "surrender" even more to get the backstop removed. Coming back and selling it as a "good deal".

That falls under "major oops" territory. I keep saying this over and over again. The EU are totally clueless about the UK parliament and how our government works. Clue Less.

I was waiting for Fairies and Unicorns and a great big pink Pig just floated past the window.

So the vote will happen "before the 21st deadline". Great. More watching and sniping from the sidelines on the menu again...
