Another outstanding example of "Independence".

The first "Independent" chairman of the FA was 'Lord' Bernard Triesman, who became a member of the Labour party aged 17 and who was General Secretary of the Labour party 2001-2003, a Labour member of the House of Lords and a member of the third Tony Blair administration.

Which member of the Labour party would the first "Independent" press regulator?
I suppose we'll have to wait until Ed Miliband gets elected before we find out.
