I have been going on about "the lag", be it 10, 30-40, 100 or 200 years, for as long as I can remember. Very few people understand that what we do today does not manifest itself tomorrow.... it bites back way into the future. Ah well....

When and how it bites back, and its effects, are also dependent on all those cycles I keep talking about, be they astronomical or global.

My children will, hopefully, be OK. The fate of any grandchildren is very uncertain and I would not want to be one of their generation.

Ah! Boyles Law - I'd almost forgotten that, Frank.
The trouble is that so many of the things I learned at Technical College,
like differential calculus, I never had to use again.

It's been my second "hobby" as such for around 30 years now. At least nobody laughs at me any more.

Pity it wasn't more positive. Then again we do rely on politicians to lead and help resolve this. So the result is, I guess, a foregone conclusion....
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
