I know this is unscientific, but I really don't like Jeremy Hunt.

Nothing has been said about hydro electric power such as the Swansea Bay scheme. There are two tides each day which could produce power.
DEsigns have been rejected by the government.

Whyare solar panels not fitted to new houses and other buildings.
When I was working, I can remember visiting a small engineering company in the Birminghamn area. The owner had fitted fans under the roof
and was blowing the hot air down into the area where most of the employees were working. The owner said he only filled the tank for the oil fired heater
at thye start of the winter period. Other firms had to fill up at least once a month.
Just shows what good planning can do.

Just think of it this way. Under Boris and Truss we were going to get Nuclear and the budget would just have to work itself around it.

Under Sunak and Hunt the Nuclear is going to go and we'll get loads of Wind. Meaning we will need to keep a whole load of gas powered stations open to keep the baseload power.

This fits the rhetoric of those rebel Tories who believe that Global Warming solutions are simply crackpot Activist stuff.....

Amazing how the totally "untenable" people were doing the right thing but the "acceptable" people are going to cast it off into the night in order to make short term gains that help nobody in the long run.

If it wasn't so utterly predictable it would be soul destroying.
