I suppose one expert's opinion is no better than another expert's opinion.

I have picked up on one or two snippets of information put forward by so called 'experts'. That the virus is weakening as it spreads and is only a 70 day virus, and that there will be no second wave as it is a virus and not the flu.

I have no idea if any of this will prove to be correct but I am clutching at it as a glimmer of hope. I am so fed up with switching on the news only to hear that the government has once again fouled up on its latest venture. If there are any more U turns heads must surely roll, including Boris'.

Meds, it has already gone on for more than 70 days, which kind of does that theory down a bit. Influenza is also a virus and types A and B are the usual culprits in human illnesses and they mutate annually: it is not a coronavirus, but we have vaccines. Indications in China (Beijing) and in S. Korea lead to a belief that there could be a second wave, so we need to heed those warnings.

I do agree about the foul-ups, U-turns, and Bunter / Demonic.

WM, nobody has a real view on this because there has been nothing like this in the modern world and there are no relevavan bodies of knowledge.

There are 213 countries and states affected by covid and they range from the Chinese response to the a Swedish response.

None, not one single one, of these countries studied, has done a 100% test of their population for both the virus and antibodies.

These so called Experts cannot have a considered position because they don't have enough data and just because you don't like the government does not give their best guess any more legitimacy than the data it is based on.
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
