I haven't heard what's happened in China but the shootings in Connecticut are just horrible....what goes through the minds of people? It's heartbreaking. My heart goes out to everyone affected.

It makes me absolutely wild when I hear about mass shootings. Why don't these people just go ahead and shoot themselves first???? Why take out people who have never done you a wrong, never deserved any of it. Children for heavens' sake!
Those who survive will be scarred for life after witnessing that kind of thing. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think the same Elaine - why oh why do they take innocent children that way?

It's unspeakably horrific. Little children between the ages of 5 and 10, and the shooter, cowardly bas***d that he is, is among the dead. They don't have the guts to face the consequences of their sick actions.

More details are being released now. He shot his father that morning and his mother was a teacher at the school. He shot her and many of the little children in her class. His younger brother has been taken into custody.
