I am in that video. I just quit my job in the corporate controlled media to become an independent journalist. I have lots of stories to tell from the inside.

Yes, it's real. I worked in TV news for many years and saw this piece years ago. Most don't know how "local" TV news (owned by big station groups) operates. How propaganda is created and pushed to all of its local stations. Cut and paste. It's cheap and immediate.

That's why some of us pick a headline from Sky / BBC / ITN and then head off to other places... It's a wakening experience, especially with international news, to look at what is being said in Oz, NZ, Canada and the English versions of foreign sites.

True. However MSM is panicking. Social Media was just put aboard a rocket and fired off towards space. They are fighting back.

When there was just radio, a few tv channels and the press, it was easier to control opinions.

With the internet it is now much harder.

Which is why under the guise of "protecting the children" they are trying to control the internet too.

When Musk bought twitter child exploitation was rife all over the platform, almost unchecked if the perpetrators were even the slightest bit careful about it. Say the wrong thing about Trans and Gender reassignment and you were blocked. Exploit children? Well they had to focus on what was important.

Today the exploitation is 99.99% eradicated on the platform.

But the MSM has it as a right wing echo chamber.

In the DeSantis interview he talks about how the TV media had to pull the broadcast when he showed pages from books that were part of the school curriculum because it was "inappropriate content".

The MSM has him as a book banning fascist. In fact what he did was give parents the choice. Granted I know it can be abused by religious zealots but you can fix that at home with awareness, your own books and simply talking to your child. Being exposed to "inappropriate" sexual content can't be "fixed" at home. They've been exposed.

You really have to be careful as to who is yanking your chain.

It shows how far humanity has regressed when so many of us seem to think that social media IS the Internet. It is even more scary that people believe that what they read and hear on Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram etc. is the truth.

These places are not safe, regardless of what the owners say. They are just echo chambers for nut jobs.

I never said that, but it is the case that MSN does not interact with the players the same way that unsocial media does.

USMs are active forums where individuals interact with each other and if you are in the minority you can expect to get a good spanking from the self-elected "right thinking" side.

By and large MSM puts out (sometimes biased) reports. It is up to the individual to take or leave them. They do allow comments, yes, but there is little conversation and those comments are heavily and actively moderated, unlike the free-for-all of unsocial media.

I was recently pointed to an interview by an Ex BBC reporter. A reporter who is moving to unSocial media. She was talking to a member of BoJo's team when he was Mayor of London. He said "In all the time Boris was Mayor of London he was never accused of lying". She just went on and on and on Liar Liar Liar LIar. You could see it in his eyes. What is the point in talking to this woman she just wants to push her position. He just stopped responding to her except when asked a direct question. It became a monologue.

From my perspective there is virtually nothing to pick between rabid right and rabid left. There is no talking to either of them. I have one like that on another fourm. I just no longer respond to anything he says. Ignore all the jibes and the conversation continues without him. Mostly. Some are still trying to "educate" but there is no educating him. He's all "social reform or bust". Produces dodgy documents which have been robustly rebutted as inaccurate to the point of being useless but because they are not published there is no peer review structure.

There is always talk about the "Rabid Right". As if the left are silent and all have halos. Even by repeating the "Rabid Right" identifier you are advancing their agenda. OK if you believe in it but I don't think you do.
