I am quite clear about my position and my son and daughter and family know it.

If I am put in a position where I am in a vegetative state and my life depends on machines to keep me alive, in such a state, I want them turned off. If there is no chance of a recovery from any illness, where I can live an independent life, I also want the life support turned off.

If I suffer Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Motor Neurone, or similar, I demand the right for my life to end when I choose.

It must always be my choice, and not that of the medical profession, MPs, religious people, the media or legal eagles.

I absolutely agree Frank, to coerce any individual to sign these disgraceful forms is in my opinion an outrage.
What a country this has become, by the way you can be sure that ethnic people will not be approached, ( I would be interested to learn just how many have been put on this journey of death.)
Muslims respect and look after their own elders until they die.
