Laura Kuensberg did not give Hattie an easy time on Newsnight, but she did not probe her too much on the letters signed, sealed, and delivered by her.

Also from the article: At the time Patricia Hewitt, said “public hostility to paedophilia was such that it damaged the cause of gay rights for the gay movement to be associated with it”.

That is not saying that paedophilia is wrong, only that support for it was getting in the way of the NCCL's major cause clebre at the time: Gay rights.

I love this statement from some unnamed Labour spokesbod: "This is not the way that political debate should be conducted, that's not what the British people want to see."

I think that s/he will find that the British are quite acceptable of perfectly legal methods of uncovering ill-doing by their politicians

Lol. In other words, "This could be embarassing for us - people shouldn't be allowed to talk about it".

The next time Labour get in, I wonder how long it will be before Hacked Off is placed in charge of the press and the Daily Mail banned?

I have written on my Facebook." Get rid of Harman, Dromey and Hewitt NOW. "No gold indexed linked pensions" etc etc.
No promoting to another top position.
The mere fact they associated with this revolting organisation and took money from them is enough for them to "have to step down and out"
