Eh?

ONS figures show that inflation is now at 3.0% (to Jan 2025) that's down from 7.92% (Jan 2022) and 6.75% (Jan 2023), both under the Tories. It was at 11.1% in Dec 2023.

Facts!

It was at 2.4% at the time of the budget so it can't be that far away.

A rise of 0.6% is next to nothing. If you were offered that as an annual wage rise you would be up in arms.

And it is nowhere near where the Telegraph, Mail, Express and your mates Kemi and Nigel expected / wanted it to be. They were hoping it would be nearer 10% so that they could keep having digs at people called Rachel from Accounts and Robber Rachel; whoever they are!

Sorry Vic but the name calling is a bit misogynistic. We didn't hear Robber Rishi when he was giving contracts to his Father-in-law's business interests.

"Dishy Rishi" was hardly insulting, if wildly inaccurate, and BoJo wasn't nasty either.

Johnson, the two faced liar, chancer, philanderer, cheater and partygoer deserved every syllable of opprobrium aimed at him,

Sunak has an excuse; sort of... He followed Liz Truss.

He was not up to the job, but that's been the standard for decades.

The chancellor, not Rachel from Accounts, wants UK pension funds to invest in Britain, and other places. Where's the problem? The Canadians do it to their benefit; why shouldn't' we?
