She's 83 and probably knows no better. It's right that she resigned (or was made to walk the plank) and hopefully it'll serve as a warning to others of her ilk.

Clearly she does it to everyone. What I take offense to is the immediate hammer blow as a result of "race offence". Yes I don't like people like that interrogating me either but I can't get rid of them by claiming racial abuse.

If a dog cocks its leg and waters the wheel on your car it is not vandalism. It is a dog being a dog. However, apparently, if a dog cocks its leg on a black persons car and waters the wheel it IS vanalism.

Not sure I'd want to live in where this world is going.

I'm quite sure there is an agenda, bit of a 'coincidence' it's been timed to clash with William and Kate in America.

I'm not defending Lady Hussey, if it happened as reported it was quite definitely wrong, but the palace acted promptly and dealt with it correctly. What I dislike is the deliberate naming and shaming, it was spiteful. There was absolutely no need to do that, or indeed to continue to milk the situation.

If Ngozi Fulani had answered the question the first time it was asked, it would not have become a "major" incident. She has made it into a racial so she will get
lots of publicity and try to show she was in the right.
I have never heard of ther organisation she represents. I wonder how it is funded.

This has all the appearance of a fix to discredit the RF just as the Prince and Princess of Wales are in America, especially as Marlene is a known MM supporter.

It’s not just down to skin colour though. As recently as last September when we were in Italy, a lovely elderly English lady (maybe in her 80s) asked where we were from. We said Ireland and she said “Northern Ireland I presume”. Now that is a red rag to most Irish people, but we stayed polite, and made a joke about it. I think that Ngozi woman was ready, willing and able to be offended.

I did hear on a television news programme that this lady's organisation is funded by Black Lives Matter. She was wearing an ethnic outfit at the time so I would image anyone in a meet and greet role would express curiosity about her background. I think the incident has been blown out of proportion but perhaps Lady Hussey was a little bit clumsy in her questioning, especially when she moved Ngozi Falani's hair to one side.

Yes I mean, one woman touching another woman's hair has been abuse since the beginning of time.... Hasn't it???

It is at times like this that I'm glad the only contact I have with strangers is to shake their hand. I become more aloof as the years go on with strangers. My pool of friends (outside of dancing) is small and it will remain that way. The Scottish Country dancing community is a very different community and there I can be comfortable. "Activists" don't tend to like that kind of dancing...

Know the feeling Osc. The amount of times Mrs S get's English and England said to her when it is very clearly Scotland and Scottish or British is not funny. But we just let it go or politely say British or remind the person that "going home" for Mrs S is actually Scotland.

You can understand any confusion with me as my English accent is quite clear. I consider it an accident of birth given both my parents were away from home and my father was still active in the RAF and we were effectively living at his posting. Just as one of my daughters was born in a hospital in Germany, she's not German. I only admit to being Scottish when in France.

I think the lady is a professional offence seeker who is making a good living out of it £60,000 plus pa.
