Is there still one in Seacroft, WM?

At the moment I don't think there is much chance of a TA barracks being stormed and the guns stolen, not least because the terrorists seem to have enough Kalashnikovs, ammunition and explosives; they don't need to break into armouries.

But further down the road, who knows? It's not something you can rule out.

Rail stations seem a target, airports, and I truly feel that London /Birmingham and or other major cities will be the target possibly even Westminster. Our police are not overly competent, and I am not surprised that there is no real effort to investigate those entering this country minus papers, and not interning them as we did in the last war until they can be returned to their country of origin . Women and children we should open our hearts too, my heart bleeds for the many little orphans cold, hungry and open to abuse.i am sick of the gently gently attitude of this useless government who appear to think it is OK for threats and open hostility being preached on our streets and openly in Mosques,

I was watching a news item the other day after the Americans claimed to have killed the IS "finance minister". :?:

A man with an 'ology was holding forth with a warning that unless the Islamic terrorists could pay their soldiers (mercenaries) we would have a 20,000 strong exodus of fighters back to Europe.

If that ever looks like happening we really are going to have to change our ways of dealing with them, both at home and abroad. We should, in fact, already have plans in place. A charge of Treason carrying the death penalty when found guilty would be a start.

When I mentioned 'soft' targets the other day I never expected the terrorists to sink this low, maybe I should have.

Proud parents and their kids celebrating the end of a local football tournament and going up to collect their trophies. How very sad.

Vic's right, I'm afraid - these young girls and kids that have gone out to Syria and Iraq have been brainwashed, and we would be most foolish to just let them return to this country and carry on as before.
If they do return, they should be treated no differently from males - they should all be interred.

Yes, I've no doubt that the Paris killers were all cute toddlers once.

Weren't we all ?

I have a horrible feeling that things are going to get much worse before very long.
We will be suffering for the stupidity and incompetence of our political leaders, past and present, and the
present lot don't seem to have the capability to grasp the nettle and take the decisive action now required.

Learning of the death of the well loved "devout Muslim" highly regarded and respected in his mixed community who wished all Christians A Happy Easter and who was as a result stabbed to death shocked me and filled me with the deepest feeling of great sadness for this decent caring man his family and for the community who held him in such high esteem. A Gentleman......our country probably has hundreds? Thousands? Of jihadists and anti British immigrant Muslims, equally we have the same amount or more of law abiding Muslims who have settled here who are law abiding decent citizens a credit to our communities. The sad thing is these Muslims are afraid to speak out to stand up and be counted for fear of retaliation". This stabbing in our own country and the fear of what may happen to them if they speak out tells us that we really do have serious enemies in our midst.
