I've been into the Administration Panel and checked the list of your posts, in order. Your last post, before you posting about a missing post, was Tue Mar 15, 2016 at 6:58 pm on this thread, so nothing has been deleted and we don't have a function here that 'blocks' posts xx

A thing I have sometimes done is to Preview a post and then forgotten to Submit it.

Easily done.

That could be so Kaz and Frank, I attempted to post it twice.. It has now gone disappeared. Ah well I tried. More trouble than I'm worth. Thanks for trying Frank.

When taking a long time to create a post, the entry can time out, especially if another post comes in when you are replying. Then it gets lost. Sometimes you can get it back with the back button (most of the time to be fair), but not always.

When I remember and I'm doing a long post, I usually copy the text in the window before trying to post.

Doing a preview, again, before posting, will allow you to post again.

I know, I know, it should just work no matter what. But, then again, this is free software people have given up time to write. So you really do get a LOT more than you pay for and sometimes there is a free lunch. Just no salt or condiments...
