Morning Ally, I'm sure you're ready for a rest  Happy Birthday to your dad :D :D xxx

Well it's a dry and frosty start to the day, hopefully it will stay dry and be a nice, crisp day :D I'm off to the garden centre later with D and Mick's Aunt Jen - not that we're looking for plants, it's mainly to give J a trip out and she likes garden centres :) Before that I'm going to steam the hard floors - I wanted to do it yesterday but it turned so wet it was pointless, with the dogs around to tread mud in ;) Quiet day here anyway, Mick is in Cardiff again, some sort of management bun fight LOL and B is working.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Happy birthday to your dad Ally x

Up early as it's coffee with the ladies this morning. Think I'll need my ear muffs for the walk along the seafront, the temperature has definitely dropped.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning you three

Ally, happy birthday to your dad xxx. Enjoy your quiet day home - as Kaz said, you must be more than ready for it; I know I definitely would be  As a complete by the by and as a matter of interest is your weather spot on or warmer than usual for this time of year?

Kaz, have fun in the garden centre. I always love having a mooch around them regardless of season

Jen, you're not far from wrong re the ear muffs. The temperatures have dropped nicely and if you've got a wind coming off the sea it must be really rather very nippy - brrrrrrr. I've been quite lazy recently what with the cr*ppy weather and have been catching the train from Waterloo East to Charing X and avoiding the walk over the river - it's just been too wet / windy / miserable, but I walked again this morning and it was perfect - sunny and totally wind still.

Usual work day for me. Am meant to be going out for lunch with a colleague but she's not feeling 100% so we're going to see how the morning goes and how she feels in a few hours

Have a lovely day all

x

I'd say the weather was normal for this time of year Ria...anything from 19-22 degrees.

I keep a diary and a quick check on this time last year has the entry 'warm and sunny'. :D

Morning all, childminding today instead of tomorrow this week, so Kellie is having her short nap at the moment - I could do with one myself as I was awake during the night  When she gets up, we will go and do our Lidl shopping. Michael goes to tennis today, so I will collect him at 3pm, one of the other mums is bringing him there from school. It is a nice looking day, dry and cold. Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon everybody.
There is lots of blue sky but it is cold outside. Been to town and done some shopping and took some items to one of the charity shops.
Getting ready for our cruise we fly out next Friday 22nd for a two week cruise into the sunshine.
Have a good day.

Well we had a lovely mooch round, the garden centre we went to today, at Whitminster, had a lot of retail outlets in it too - a Pavers shoes, a Peacocks, a Ponden Mills, etc so we had a great old look round. Aunt J bought some shoes, Doreen bought some Jeyes Fluid for cleaning the greenhouse ( ), Jen also bought a lot of Whiskas catfood as it was cheaper than the supermarket, and I bought socks for Harry (it's hard to find them big enough so I grab then when I see them) and a nice striped polo shirt for Mick. Oh and a room diffuser - Jasmine and Green Tea - which smells lovely and was only a fiver :) No plants, it's a bit early and anyway the plant section felt really cold

It is a bitter cold day but beautiful sunshine, and they have a big restaurant, all glass sided like a greenhouse, with a lovely view across the hills and countryside, where we had a bite of lunch. I had a jacket spud and salad as I don't eat dinner before zumba 8-) J and D had a sandwich and chips each

Mick has just got in from Cardiff, better make him a cuppa :) >>>>>>>>>>
