We found out on Thursday that the house doesn't have a phone line, so although MEO are coming on Tuesday to connect tv etc, they may have a problem with the telephone line

But the library has computers, and I'll be popping into Ourique on Tuesday afternoon, to get food, so will also join the library and use theirs.

Smoke signals might help

It just shows how we have become used to new technology and we feel lost when we can't use it.
I was talking to someone this week and mentioned that when you used a phone box you had to put money in to speak to the operator and either press button A to speak to the person you had called or B to get your money back if you were not connected.
