After all the shenanigans going on in the bank, Grumpy and I went for a beer or 3, as you do.

We sat at our normal bar and over came some lovely cake, made by Graçiela. And gert lush it was too - and she managed to say Happy Christmas in English 8-) 8-)

Then the owner, Sr. Joao plonked a large plate of enormous prawns in front of us   guess who had to peel them

As we were going, I told the group of very noisy people (we know them all) that we sold our house this morning and we'd be moving to the Alentejo, so they burst into song, one of the local ones we've heard before and it was kisses and hugs all around.

Paulo, who is a retired teacher, did her normal loud thing....

Em Fuzeta, we do :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

En Alentejo, they do....................................nada

"Right chaps, they've gone. Get the good stuff out again.

Graçiela, what is it with the cake? We need decent tapas. Paulo, STFU!

And we are back to Portuguese prices for the beers - I have €15 behind the bar for one night only.

Apreciar. Saúde!"

;) :D :D

Enjoy the move, Ton.
