and Peter and the Wolf was absolutely STUNNING!
Peter and the Wolf was first, and Simon Callow narrated it absolutely beautifully and the Mozart Orchestra were superb Then a short interval, the orchestra came back out and the film began - having live music made a real differnce. The best bit was when the boy soprano came out on stage - in his dressing gown with teddy under his arm - and sang his little heart out for "Walking in the Air" Mick and I both had tears in our eyes.....
I'm so glad we went, it was a beautiful start to Christmas and I feel really festive now
Oh and we weren't the only unaccompanied adults, but it was full of children - and my programme came with a pack of crayons to colour in the pictures inside!
