Remember those friends whose wedding anniversary we went too, last month?=

Well, they've invited us, to "celebrate" us leaving    our little village on Tuesday.

That's the day we actually sign the final deed for this house. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

How lovely, and it'll be 12 years, to the actual day, we bought

We've just arranged to eat really early, as we have to be up really early, the next day, as we want to check out the house, before we sign anything.

Those people we're buying from are still playing silly buggers    :x :x :x

Too complicated Molly, different laws over here, would take me ages to explain.

Suffice to say, we won't play ball with their capital gains tax fiddle and they're not being very helpful.

It is normal, over here, once you've signed the promissary contract and paid your deposit, that you have free access to your "new" house. So we'd hoped to have all our furniture moved in yesterday, but they won't let us.

Not until the house is paid for, which is next Wednesday.

Our buyer is being really good and letting us stay here, for up to 2 months, should we need to.
