Now, I don't care how warm it gets today. I am not going out. :)

I don't care there's a street party 20 minutes walk from here. I am not going out. :)

I can't recall the last time I had a full day at home. I am not going out. :)

Place your bets please.

Have a great day everyone. :)

Morning Ally and everyone

Wet, thunderstormy but surprisingly mild, this morning. The most fantastic thunderstorm though, keeps rolling away and back again :) :)

Not going out Ally? Think we need a ball and chain to keep you in 8-) 8-)

A friend is coming round in about an hour to collect one of the fridge/freezers and that is the last of the freebies, given away.

Not sure what we'll be doing today, was hoping it would be nice and we could have given ourselves a day off from looking at empty walls

Whatever you're doing, hope you have a good day xx

Morning all :)

We had a really good drive yesterday, made a lovely change. We even had time for a proper meal (a first) before visiting my aunt and uncle, also meant we were able to relax and watch Strictly. Great show and fabulous result :D :D :D

Just had brekkie and will be off to visit mother at 10.30. Chris her key worker is on duty today which means there shouldn't be a delay getting mother up and ready to see us. Fingers tightly crossed there aren't any problems, it would be lovely for her to be able to enjoy seeing everyone. Hoping Z has as easy a trip on the M25 as we did.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all :)

The sun is actually out here  8-) :Hi: :Hi:

Ally, Not Going Out if one of my favourite comedies, I've got the tune in my head now :x

Jen, I'm glad your weekend is going well :) xx

Ton, that's great, won't be long now! :D

We're off shopping later, as per, on a Sunday - hoping Morrison's won't be too crowded but not holding my breath LOL Becky is working, but as she was out very late last night, and tiddly when she got in, I think she'll find it a loooong day    I'll be cooking a roast later as Harry says he's looking forward to one of my Sunday roasts :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, lovely sunny day here although it looks very windy. I've done all the wrapping (there wasn't much!) and am relaxing for a while before hitting the shower. We are going to a dance this afternoon, Mr Osc enjoyed himself on Wednesday night and a man with no partner is always popular :D We will leave a bit early as there is a "drinks and nibbles" being hosted by a family on our street in the early evening and all are invited - apparently they have wanted to do this for a few years. Nice idea but rather them than me! It will be interesting to see who turns up. Have a good day everyone :)

Still sunny here Di  8-) Hope you get your tree done :) :D

Osc that's a lovely idea of your neighbours, very much in the spirit of the season :) :D Hope you enjoy that, and the dance xx

Well Morrison's was busy but not manic, the café was even quiet enough for us to have a swift cuppa afterwards without a massive queue :) I had £20 worth of money off vouchers so for the first in as long as I can remember my Christmas food shop came in at under the hundred pounds!! 8-) :D :D Catching up with stuff on the iplayer now, then later I'm making a roast, and also making some filo pastry apple and mincemeat mini-parcels for Weightwatchers tomorrow :)

Hmmph. We've had mostly dark grey with occasional bright patches to tease us.
I've just been into town for an(other) adaptor for the tree and drove in an absolute cloudburst

It's such a shame, so many summer events were wrecked by the weather and today it's a lovely Christmas one
There's things on all day by the quay, then at 3 a carol service, followed at 4 by Father Christmas arriving by boat, in a flotilla, all decorated and lit up.
Right now the sun's kind of out, I do hope it stays clear for them.

Most years there has been a get-together at one neighbour or another - last year you may remember we had a party :)
No-one's volunteered so far this year, but I've instructed Bb to drop hints on his dog walks, and tell them I'm happy to do some food ;)

We are indeed doing the tree, and the rest - just having a cuppa, with a mince pie to look forward to once it's done :)

Oh that's a shame, about the spoiled events :( Hope the hints work :)

My mini parcels are done and look delish :)
