Freezer dinner no. 2

Postby tonicha » 16 Dec 2015, 21:07

Was thrown out

Grumpy had the butternut squash and chilli soup, which was lovely, but because we were hungry, I took another container of soup out.

What I'd forgotten, was that it was the rather nasty tomato and basil soup I made, with his help :x :x which ended up being not very nice at all. Most of it, I'd chucked out, but because he was in the kitchen, I'd put some in a container and in the freezer. And that was what I ended up with.

So I had crisp butties instead  8-)

noooooo - I'm down to one small freezer, the othe one should have gone today but the lady in question is having a belated birthday party and will, no doubt, be tiddled for the next couple of days :x :x

I have some lovely stuff in there, just wanted to get rid of the rubbish first - I hope

One good reason for our small freezer section - I wouldn't dream of bothering to freeze rubbish :o :x
Bb defrosted it yesterday - overdue as always - and we threw out...nothing 8-)

For heaven's sake Ton, go through it tomorrow, chuck stuff out, most of us are only on emergency freezer rations or takeaways for a couple of days

I've got two lots of chicken sausages, 2 lots of soup, 2 burgers and about 4 chicken breasts to get through, as well as a few rolls and a loaf ofsliced bread.

But we need to fridge on for the beer    8-)

I've told him we're eating out on 26 & 27, also 28, when we're up there.
