Ah thanks for thinking of him Jo.
He seems fine. He was abit out of sorts a few days after the op when he was hallucinating and was quite unsteady on his feet. He was on some new drugs (a five day supply) and when my mum read the blurb on the packet about them she realised that they were the reason so stopped them after 4 days and he was fine after that.
I took them to the hospital on Saturday and the consultant is really pleased. He has had a slight bleed behind the eye but that doesn't seem to be of any importance.
He can see things that are very close up but everything else is very blurred but the consultant says that is because he still has a bandage lens in.
He is waiting for another appointment to go and see the consulatant again in a week or so and is hoping the bandage lens will come off then.

That must've been a bit of a worry right after his surgery!
Glad he's doing better now though and fingers crossed it works this time

Gosh Debih, I feel really bad now - completely forgot to ask about your dad
I am very very sorry!
Glad to hear he's doing OK and hopefully once the bandage lens comes off he'll notice a good improvement in his sight.

What's a bandage lens? I'm trying to imagine it, and can't get my head around it

I don't know! Some sort of contact lens to protect the cornea I think.
