The woodworm saga

Postby Workingman » 14 Dec 2015, 09:50

The inspector has been round and the bathroom floor needs to be replaced, but thankfully the joists are OK. The little devils have also got into the kitchen and at least some of that floor needs doing.

Nothing is going to happen till after new year so I can carry on as I am.

At least I am not going to end up on the throne with my trousers round my ankles as I crash through to the bathroom below.

Thanks ladies. :D

The way the bath has been fitted, it is tied in to the walls and tiled around, will probably mean a new bathroom suite, so it is not all bad news.

I'm pleased to hear that things aren't quite as bad as first thought.

I've been trying to imagine how you would have looked if your WC had decided to
descend at a critical moment. :o  :?

When I saw you'd started a thread "Back in Time for Christmas", I seriously thought that you HAD been temporarily evacuated!

Glad to hear that the problem looks manageable .... :D
