Good morning. :D

I sound like a stuck record but it's gorgeous again here. 8-) 8-)

We're going for a coastal yomp this morning parking the car at Playamar and walking to Benalmadena port. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Stuck record here too - although a tad chilly, I've actually got a thin jumper on

Lots to sort out again this morning, off down to the bank, chemist then back to make some phone calls. I also need to go and see Felipe about the Glad bag new supplier and how it all works.

I will wait for that woman to ring but I'll also be contacting the bombeiros to see what they would like.

Have a good yomp Ally and enjoy your day everyone xx

Morning you two, enjoy your days :D :D

Well there is thick frost on the fields over the road here, and on the rooves of the neighbouring houses, so I expect it will be blooming chilly out there today  Still, that means no rain (hurrah) so I'll wrap up well against the cold and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts :D :D

Weightwatchers, of course, followed by zumba, and if I'm not toooo exhausted I might grab a few Christmassy bits before I catch the bus home ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning you three

Ally, enjoy the yomp - sounds lovely
Ton, good luck with more packing and sorting and definitely good luck re the glad bags
Kaz, same here - frosty and icy this morning but the sun is shining and it promises to be a lovely day - I love crisp cold days like this

Usual work day for me and then home for a quiet relaxed evening. The weekend was quite busy and didn't get online much.... Ikea on Saturday followed by a long detour home because the motorway was shut and SatNav really took us round the houses. Sunday morning was putting together a kitchen cupboard, moving things and sorting things round and also putting up new blinds in the bedroom; they really look great and I'm very pleased with them. But it's amazing how something you think will be a 2 hour job actually ends up taking nearly all day.

Have a lovely day everyone

Morning all :D

A lovely bright sunny day here, no sign of frost but there again it is gone 10 so who knows what it was like first thing

Still got the snots, but had a good night so not all bad. Hope you feel better soon weka x

Need to pop into town after brekkie to buy more veggies. We have a lovely greengrocer, actually there's two, but the one we usually go to is great and stocks lots of local produce including one of our favourites brussel tops. Tbh it's like taking a step back in time, they'd all closed in Swindon so it was supermarket veg or nothing. There are three really good old fashioned butcher shops too. It's the same in all the little towns around here so lots of choice. Living down here has so many advantages, I can see why people consider themselves lucky :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all,

I am stuck in the apartment today. Tried to get online with the crappy work BYOD I don't know about bring your own device it's more like bring your own determination because it has never worked for me or anyone else at work that I know. I don't get a laptop (yet), so I can't work. Finally after my last possible shot I got to a new message. You are not authorised. So I called the helpdesk because I am. To hear that the helpdesk is swamped and not to try and get through to them unless my call is business critical. As I'm a project manager and therefore, to quote a friend of mine, a Chocolate Teapot, I just gave up at that point.

I'll probably just go to the building. I have a friend who works there too, lives a 5 minute walk from the building and he tells me it's open and he's sitting there working.

City is pretty quiet. When I got in last night I noticed that every metro station was barricaded and guarded by at least 3 armed police in full protective gear. The Embassy area was being patrolled by armed soliders but they were just in battle dress not in full flak jackets as they would be if they expected a fire fight.

The busses appear to be running a restricted service as I normally have loads of them passing my window, I'm on a junction with 6 bus routes converging on it, you can imagine the noise. It's fairly quiet today.

From what I can gather, they seem to have shut the city down to keep both the press and the public away when they raid buildings so that there is no more collateral damage than they can help. They also appealed, very sensibly to my mind, for the press and the public not to tweet or fb their movements or actions so that the terrorists were not forewarned. About time someone said that to them.
