The wind has really started here in Birmingham in the last 20 minutes or so - we are expecting strong gusts up to 60 mph so I've just put the car in the garage, given that tomorrow is rubbish collection day and there's a fair few wheelie bins been put out already .... :?

Windows were rattling here at work too, it's pretty windy in Brussels but not likely to be as wild as you are seeing it.

Hands on hats.

Nothing here as yet. It is still mild at 13C with a few clouds, but it is forecast for gusts of 50-60 mph during the night.

We could do with a howler to remove the leaves from the trees as hardly any have fallen so far.

Ossie, it's really strong here!! I went out to pick up the recycling bin which had flown across the garden, and a sudden gust nearly knocked me sideways - and I'm no fairy weight :o
