Complete bummer

Apologies for the language, but I've just skyed with some very good friends and found out that he has a not so good diagnosis.

If he stays off the booze, then so much the better, but apparently, he's already been back on the booze a few times

He's always been the same, and Grumpy has known him for almost 60 years. So sad, but my mum was the same, even when she was told that she should give up. We also know a few people who carried on drinking, when told not to.

They're coming over next week, so we'll need to lock everything away.

Sorry to hear that Ton. The thing is some people just aren't prepared to change. My eldest lost his dad 10 years ago from heart problems; he wasn't prepared to give up drinking and smoking, so they wouldn't put him on the transplant list, and he died aged 57  He was always a stubborn so and so :(

Have a hug, and don't let it spoil your good news about moving eh? (((((((x)))))))
