I'd whizzed around the market, looking for the particular type of shoe I wanted, but nowt there.

So went to the coffee, where Grumpy was waiting.

One of the local fisherman, Victor, brought over some of his lunch to share

Octopus stew

Which, I'm sure, was really lovely, but I hate it. Grumpy had a huge bowlful (be rude if both of us refused it) and was offered seconds

I did try a very very small lick of lips of the juice, and I know Di loves it. But it is not for me.

I felt I had to apologise so many times

I'll stick to British fayre thank you - I had beans 'n sausage on toast.

Wouldn't say love, exactly, not octopus.
It can be lovely, but not always by any means

I love Octopus.

It's lovely when it's bbq'd and its all crisps. Reminds me of belly pork
