A problem in UK with NHS?

Speaking to a friend earlier,just had her flu jab,gets back home and the phone rings ,it,s her Dr asking why did,nt your husband come for his jab?
Answer? Cos he,s been dead for 25 years!!!!!!!

Sounds like someone using initiative without thinking things through.

My MiL kept getting reminders for my FiL from his optician, to go for his eye test, even though she rang and told them he'd died :( It must be upsetting :? :(

If never had any problems after B died the only thing I never changed into my name was the water bill :roll:
What makes me wonder if the drs rang about this ladys husband
Are they still claiming money from the nhs
for his registration at there practise I wonder

good point Saundra! Obviously the records must still be active somewhere? that is a worry
