A bank holiday as it was All Souls Day yesterday it's tagged onto today.

I'm doing my lesson plans and then going to chill out and catch up on TV recordings of which there are rather alot.

We had yet more rain last night, but the wind has dropped. Showers forecast for today, but at the moment, the sun is out and the sky is blue

Meeting a bod from that expats (hate that word ) forum later this morning. Yes, I know I'm mad, but some-one has to do it She wants to see our little village, so will be doing my tourist guide bit

It is foggy here.
Going to the optician this morning for the check up after the operation to remove the cataract on my left eye. All seems well but he will check to ee if I still want glasses for reading. I don't need them now when I am using the PC.

Well Saundra has a point, there is a lot of fog about and they have it at Edinburgh which is where Mick is going! Ironically we had our fog yesterday, none here this morning, although I can't speak for Brum airport. I haven't heard from M that his flight is either delayed or cancelled yet, so hopefully he'll get there ok. Ah, as I typed that, BBC Breakfast just announced long delays from Birmingham, in which case I expect Mick will just come home, his trip was only an overnighter

Otherwise it's a normal Monday here, Weightwatchers later Not had the best of weeks (again ) so I'm not sure how that will go! Then home, hopefully to finish my planting from yesterday!

Morning all - rather foggy this morning again; it was like this all day yesterday but it's expected to lift and clear around midday and then be nice and sunny.

Kaz, agreed - I've met some really lovely people via the internet; but then equally I have met some rather odd people as well bright orange wigs and clown suits and all that you know, crisp packets as earrings,, etc but the odd ones are the best! xx . Good luck with WW today and safe travels to Mick if his flight does go on time.

We have very thick fog here, it's lifted a little but still got the lovely sound of the foghorn
Seems hit and miss with the airports Kaz, hope M doesn't have to hang around too long before knowing one way or the other x

Bb is not sure what he's doing either, they were supposed to send him some work to arrive Saturday morning but as they often do with Saturday deliveries it seems they did it wrong as it didn't come. So annoying as although he still had other work, he could have planned his day differently, plus that job was meant to be done over the weekend so if it comes today don't know if he can still do it
There's lots I should be doing but not, no idea why but horrid bad pains in my leg woke me up this morning and it's uncomfortable whatever I do - hoping painkillers will see to it.
