I got stabbed

By one of the nasty yucca's in our front garden

Since we've had so much rain recently, weeds are popping up, so I thought I'd have a tidy up.

Knowing it's liking for stabbing me I was very careful, but the blasted thing still got me - only once this time though

Sorry, I should explain.

Due to years of long term steroids, my skin is paper thin and I always, but always wear sun-screen. but the slightest - and I mean the slightest - bump, bang, scrape - means I bleed like fury and it takes ages to heal.

I slapped some (English) germaline on it - and oh, ouchy - that blasted hurt too

Not that I'm looking for sympathy

I do sympathise Ton, I'm not supposed to have anything prickly in the garden because of lymphodema risk, but it's not just the obvious that jump out and attack!
Plus you don't always even notice do you, I'm always finding the odd scratch on the 'wrong' arm with no idea how it got there xx

Oh ouch, they are dangerous spiky things.
I'm currently sporting a massive purple bruise the size of a coffee cup on my thigh. Absolutely no idea how I did it.

I often find things like that too Weka and think now where/what/when?? did I bash yself
