Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 29 Sep 2015, 07:02

Good morning. :D

Nice and warm; the few clouds that were around earlier are bogging off as I type.

A swim and popping into town later.

Work 4 - 9.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all.

I'm off to the doctors shortly. Following my chest cold a few weeks ago, which was cured with
antibiotics, I have suffered a significant hearing loss in one ear. Ear syringing has failed to restore
hearing to its former level, so I'll see what the doc has to say. I read somewhere that antibiotics
can sometimes cause deafness. :o

Not much else planned for today.

Have a nice day.

Morning all. Most definitely autumnal this morning - my lounge windows were all steamed up when I opened the curtains. That in itself means its dropping colder - as we aren't overlooked at all we only ever draw the lounge curtains when its chilly out.

Work for me today until around 2pm and then off to the library and to the chemist to get my flu jab. The local chemist has started doing them and its much more civilised than going to the doctors - at the doctors you have to all turn up on a Saturday morning and wait. At the chemist you book an appointment to suit you.

Then pick S up from school to take her to Chesterfield - she needs a new black skirt, a couple of black t-shirts and some tights for work. She starts the new waitressing job tomorrow.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning all, lovely morning but autumnal here, like Debih our windows had condensation on them this morning. We have Kellie this morning, she is having a little nap at the moment. My Pilates class starts today, which means that Mr Osc will be giving Kellie her lunch, that should be fun  He is just hoping he won't have to deal with a dirty nappy!

Sorry to hear about your hearing, Aggers :( maybe it is still a bit infected in the ear? Hope the doc can help. Debih, did you have words with the school about what happened with S on Friday? Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
And a gorgeous one it is too!

Hope the Dr can help Aggers, important things, ears x
Good luck to S with her job Debih x
Glad you found a good restaurant Ton :)

Well, as Ton said, we're having visitors on Friday :)
It will be fun showing the locals around :)
This morning we're off down to the markets to buy something for dinner - last night we both ate traditional Portuguese dishes. Bb had a stew with chicken, meat, sausage and chickpeas, I had whole squids! Lovely they were, cooked in garlicky olive oil I think :)
And we have yet to hear an English voice anywhere we've eaten, even our local tea/coffee/gorgeous cake cafe is full of locals :)
Quarteira is 90% Portuguese residents :)

Good morning everyone :)

Di, that sounds like heaven - so glad you are having a good time. Watch out for those locaaaaals on Friday ;) :D

Aggers, I hope the doc can help!

Well it's a gorgeous sunny day here, not even that chilly with it :D 8-) I've done a few bits and pieces already, and I have a doc's appointment later - I just want to chase them up about this monitor thingy :? I'll probably pop in and see D on my travels, she doesn't live that far from the surgery.....Otherwise it's just a spot of ironing to be done later.

Have a good day all :) xxx
